About PosterChild’s Characters
Ma – The smart, beautiful, amazing woman who has been the greatest influence on the person I’ve become. We are often one in the same. Which is not to say that we don’t fight.
Pa – Now that I’m at school, he lives in the same city as me. Close by. It has yet to be determined how often we will see each other.
NotMyDaddy – Ma’s boyfriend who lives in our home. We don’t always see eye to eye. In fact, sometimes that’s an understatement.
Roomie – My roommate. Thus far, we seem like a really good match. Not counting my chickens before they hatch, though.
FriendBoy – I call him thus because he’s not my boyfriend…although sometimes we act like it. He’s my best friend and I love him dearly. If only he wasn’t so far away.
UG - The “Upstairs Girls,” my two closest friends at PU who are freshmen also. They are in the same dorm as me and live on the floor above mine. They are both amazing ladies and I basically live in their room. Sometimes I worry, though, if they like me as much as I like them. I think they might?
Musical! - Not so much a person but an important part of my life, nonetheless. This is the jazzy, energetic, crazy student-run show that I’m working on this semester. I’m hoping it’s going to be really amazing. Either way, I’m very close friends with a few of my castmates and several members of the production staff, so I’m having a blast. It’s a very small cast (there are at least twice as many students working behind-the-scenes) so I’m also enjoying bonding with the performers I don’t already know. Plus, I have a really fun supporting role that I can’t wait to do. Basically, eveything about it makes me smile.
